SAP #S4HANA Cloud customers sharing their experience – the momentum builds
As I shared with you before in my recap blog, we’ve had a very strong year for #S4HANA Cloud at SAPPHIRE NOW. With our own dedicated area and theatre, we shared over 175 dedicated S/4HANA Cloud Sessions. These included numerous product specific deep dives, concept demos and roadmap sessions.
However, most importantly it also included a large number of customers and partners sharing their journeys and experiences with SAP S/4HANA Cloud to date and how our Intelligent ERP is enabling them to win. They are coming from different industries and went live recently. You will find the videos here, but let me summarize them for you in this blog.
Mod pizza use pizza as a vehicle to create opportunities for families and communities to come together. Mod implemented SAP S/4HANA Cloud solution, with a focus on Finance, and SAP Success Factors. The solution allows to bring our organization along, in terms of being best practices driven, which was one of the big drivers that Mod Pizza had when they made this decision for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. SAP helps Mod Pizza simplify their business by reducing the redundancies in business processes. Mod hire two or three hundred employees a week, and SAP Success Factors is going to transform their abilities to create that experience with their own employees in a way that they’re trying to do with their best.
Dickinson & Associates
The approach from Dickinson & Associates with their customer is not just about the technology, it’s about business-driven outcomes. They built non-integrated offline applications that didn’t talk to one another. This worked for a while, but as time went by, Dickinson recognized that they can’t support the growth of their business, and needed something that can scale up. They are now running SAP S/4HANA Cloud for professional services. They chose the cloud because lower cost of IT and hardware. As well, it’s a more prescriptive solution that allows them to standardize processes, that includes an entire suite of accounting, financials, procurement. For Dickenson & Associate, this solution is especially important for the project profitability tracking, which is something they never really had visibility into. They now leverage live data for better visibility into their business, and are able to plan and deliver resources in real time.
Delaware consulting expanded into the consultancy world doing SAP implementation mainly. They are using SAP S/4HANA Cloud for professional services, and expect it to be a skyrocketing solution. You will find 2 videos. In the first one, they show how the solution is helping to automate a lot of manual task very simply, like reconciling bank statements and real-time analytics, and monitoring of the business. Their vision is to their customer’s primary advisor for their challenges when it comes to innovation. By replacing the legacy system, SAP S/4HANA Cloud for professional services has led to the automation of many business processes, freeing up time for improved customer service. In the second video, Delaware is telling how they leverage SAP HANA Cloud integration to connect to legacy systems but also to cloud systems like SuccessFactors. They run 100% in the cloud. In addition to being the first live customer for SAP S/4HANA Cloud for professional services, the company is using the SAP Cloud Platform to manage new developments, including a timesheet application. SAP Analytics Cloud allows for cross-application reporting in real time.
Plaut IT Australia
SAP partner Plaut IT Australia turned to the same software they recommend to customers when it was time to upgrade home-grown solutions for financials, procurement, professional services, and sales: SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Plaut IT Australia was running a system with availability issues. Frustrated end users were trying to enter timesheets data, financial information, and run reports that were not available timely. The customer was at the crossroads of trying to decide what to do. At that time, SAP S/4HANA Cloud was announced, so they quickly decided that it would be the platform for them. What are some key benefits? Our partner has a field force that is able to go to any place in the world, and they are able to operate from their own device whether the SAP S/4HANA Cloud solution renders to that device. Now they can make better decisions by seeing the data more readily and more easily in the system, which has made a big difference. With SAP S/4HANA Cloud, they have real-time data access and process integration.
The Birchman Group delivers IT consulting services and solutions around the globe. Their Consultants are on the road, therefore the usability in the mobile access solutions is vitally important. Birchman’s existing enterprise resource planning platform was no longer scalable. Last year, Birchman Group went live with the first legal entity for finance. They were implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud with SuccessFactors for HR and Concur for internal management expenses. SAP S/4HANA becomes an integrated cloud solution that covers core operating processes, which means employees can access these solutions from any working place. That makes the efficiency of what they do on daily basis more effective. They’re able to make quicker and better business decisions, providing the possibility to embrace their business strategy and business growth. Thus, the company chose to implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud to streamline its business processes and to increase efficiencies.
