With rapid development of information technology, the industry has deeply influenced and changed people’s work and life style, with all these happening fast, cyber security is becoming more and more important in everybody’s digital life. On June 1st, 2017, “Cyber Security Law” in China has been officially enforced, which means the national cyber security will be under more complete legal protection. The law helps China develop cyber security strategies, manage cyber space and escort “Internet+”.

On July 18th, with the support and guidance of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Standardization Administration of China, China Electronics Standardization Institute and the People’s Government of Suzhou jointly organized the 6th “2017 New Information Technology Industry Standardization Forum”, one of the professional and influential forums of new IT Industry standardization.

 

On sub-forum of “Cyber Security Technology and Standard Application”, Dr. Li Ruicheng, Senior Vice President of SAP and Managing Director of SAP Labs China, was invited for a keynote themed as “Cyber Security in Digital Economic Era”.

He emphasized that cyber security is an indispensable factor of five technical tendencies in digital economic times. SAP’s products are developed in strict accordance with international top-level cyber security standard and boast of the whole series of security operation strategies. Superior products ensure customers’ data and transaction safety in the course of product development, implement and enterprise operation. SAP’s mature and sustainable business strategies guarantee quick response to any business interference and quick recovery of operation. Meanwhile, SAP provides audit, compliance and risks related to cyber security comprehensively and proactively.

 

SAP participates in and works with many standardization organizations to contribute experience and ideas. Apart from building safe working environment and enterprise culture internally, SAP Labs China also popularizes concepts of China’s cyber security and shares best practices, with committing to cyber security strategy dialogues between Chinese and German Government regarding cloud computing and personal data privacy protection.
