Hybrid Scenario of SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Business Planning and Consolidation

Summary:

This How-to-Guide explains an end-to-end Hybrid scenario of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and on-premise SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC). It covers the planning model creation in SAC, data importing from BPC, financial planning in SAC, and exporting planning data from SAC back to BPC.

Only BPC Standard is currently supported in this Hybrid scenario. SAC does not work with BPC Embedded yet. In the context of this document, only BPC Standard is discussed.

      Hi guys,

Is such a thing available now with BPC For S/4HANA available now that S/4HANA cloud connectivity is supported and On Premise will be in the next month or so?

      Thanks.

      Hi Jay,

Hmm, the roadmap slides say S/4HANA On Premise will be supported Q2 and the webinar for SAC at the end of June said it would be delivered either July or August of 2017. However I only see S/4HANA Cloud referenced above?

The support for S/4HANA on-premise is scheduled for the SAC wave 16. The current SAC release is wave 14.
