Customers often run into a situation where the analytical reports time-out due to the large amount of result data. Further many customers would like to only view the data in the system but would like to download the report for offline processing.
In the 1705 release of ByDesign, a new feature called 'Reporting Runs' has been introduced. This allows the users to create a new reporting run with a pre-defined view and selection along with a specific attribute that would determine the sub-packages. Once the reporting run is created, the report is executed in the background and the results will be made available as per the defined sub-packages which can be downloaded for later use.
