This blog summarizes the analysis and assets of a Telco Industry Accelerator package centered around using SAP Vora.

This blog discusses the Customer Churn Analytics and Revenue Log examples, along with other impact areas and key performance indicators . It provides a targeted use case overview while including specifics on technology infrastructure, data design, data ingestion, and data modeling using SAP Vora Tools.
The Telco Industry Accelerator package builds models in SAP Vora to show, for example, churn trends with respect to specific customer demographics. With Vora 1.4, the data results from these models can be reviewed within Vora Tools using tabular or chart visualizations. The views may also be consumed by advanced visualization tools such as SAP Lumira.
The customer churn example referred to above is also highlighted in the YouTube video below which demonstrates using the Vora 1.4 Data Browser and Vora 1.4 Modeler to explore and visualize a small sample of Telco churn data by building in-memory Views which aggregate or cross join with other Telco customer data models and views.
This blog builds on the use case introduced in Part 1 with more examples of the data ingestion and modeling process enhanced with automation. The user guide provided with the Telco Industry Accelerator also discusses options for data consumption, versioning, metadata tagging, and iterative analysis using the Vora Modeler.
This blog introduces the concept of Digital Twins using predictive analytics to derive customer+prospect pairings and other similarity metrics. Examples utilize the SAP Vora Graph Engine to model and query against customer graph data stored in HDFS.

The full Telco Industry Accelerator package includes a raw data set, data loading scripts, data modeling scripts for Vora, a user guide, visualization compositions from SAP Lumira, and other supporting files such as data designs and ingestion models. This package will be available soon from an SAP GitHub repository or something similar to that. I’ll post an update to this blog with a reference link when it becomes available.
