Easier access to SAP methodologies

A new version is available of the roadmap viewer of SAP Solution Manager. It eases the access to methodologies for implementing new solutions and transferring your existing solution into the future. The new SAP Fiori-based user interface makes it easier for you to find the right methodology for your project.

The individual methodologies are provided by SAP Activate and others. You can learn best practices regarding the activities in the project. This applies for both cloud and on-premise scenarios. You can access the roadmap viewer in the cloud via https://go.support.sap.com/roadmapviewer/#.



There are four different groups of road maps available:

• General: Generic methodologies that guide you through the implementation of SAP products in general without having the focus on a specific product


• Solution Specific: Methodologies for the implementation of and transition to specific SAP Solutions deployed on premise and in the cloud (like SAP S/4HANA)


• SAP HANA Technology Platform: Best practices regarding deployment and operations of specific technical tools and topics


• SAP Solution Manager: Methodologies describing how to build and operate SAP-centric solutions by using SAP Solution Manager

You will find multiple roadmaps in each of these groups. Just select the one that is relevant for your project.



Hint: It might happen that no content seems to be available in the different groups. This might be caused through the browser cache if you have visited earlier versions of the roadmap viewer. Just delete the browsing history in your browser to fix this.
