The world is more connected than ever before, yet it’s less connected than you think. If the latter wasn’t true we wouldn’t have any problems with tracking, but both physical objects and electronic data disappear on a regular basis at this moment in time.

Can you imagine if we finally had the power to hold complete control over everything? Nothing would go missing again and hundreds of millions of dollars would be saved in the process. Let’s look at some technology that might provide the ultimate solution.

Using Blockchain Technology

SAP predicted blockchain technology would enhance businesses years ago, but now it’s going to be incorporated into SAP Ariba. This will be used to help track shipments and ensure their authenticity all over the planet.

Obviously, the technology has protected cryptocurrency since the creation of Bitcoin and it’s finding its way into every industry. If financial institutions trust it there is no reason to doubt it will have trouble tracking shipments.

Bluetooth Beacon Tracking

This is perhaps the perfect technology for companies with large warehouses. It’s usually hard to find specific products. Depending on the size of the warehouse it could cause employees to waste lots of time.

Bluetooth beacon technology will allow anyone to locate a product within seconds. In fact, it’s so advanced it will be able to guide someone right to it, saving so much time it will revolutionize logistics.

A Tile Tracker Device

The biggest mail companies in every country will use SEO to rank in Google to tell people how they can track their orders. Unfortunately, even they don’t have the power to tell you exactly where something is.

They’ve recently come out with a tile you can attach to anything and locate where it is using your iPhone. If someone drastically reduces the cost of this they’ll throw one in every box and you’ll be able to see where deliveries are on a map.

Protecting Various Animals

There is a new technology designed to track animals. It was primarily built to help dog owners look after their pets. One of the special features was the ability to alert you if they moved out of a certain area.

It won’t be long before it’s used to track animals in various industries, especially big ones where a lot of money is at stake. They’ll just have to come up with something more inventive than a device attached to a collar first.

Start Tracking Humans

You wouldn’t need to track humans in the physical sense, but you could keep an eye on how they were working. It would give you complete control over employees and businesses would save money at the same time.

It seems like SAP Labor Tracking is going to innovate on technology already available in this area. You know it makes sense when small changes in large companies could be worth millions of dollars.

Nothing Will Go Missing in the Future

It doesn’t matter where things end up or how bad your memory gets. Technology will definitely allow you to track everything in the future. Nothing will be able to go missing, which can only be a good thing for all kinds of businesses.

What’s the technology name? “Big ones” – big industries or big animals? And who are “they”? Where did you get all this information?

Honestly could not understand anything about the “tile tracker device”. And again “they”.

I don’t mean no disrespect but this blog very much reminds of the “second-hand news reporter” Anthony Crispino SNL character, only with some SAP product placements.

if you decide to write on a technology subject you might want to do a bit more research and post accurate information supported by factual evidence. Sorry but this is neither informative nor entertaining.
