SAP NetWeaver Applications Supported with Google Cloud Platform

Be aware of a new announcement published during SAPphire!

Besides the already supported IaaS offerings for SAP NetWeaver which are based on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and IBM Bluemix, you now can operate your SAP NetWeaver based applications on the Google Cloud Platform.

The following guest operating system versions are supported for SAP NetWeaver on Google Cloud Platform:

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016
  • SLES 11 SP4 and higher
  • RHEL 6 and higher

You can operate the following databases with SAP NetWeaver on Google Cloud Platform:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and higher (Windows guests)
  • HANA (Linux guests)
