At SuccessConnect 2016, we introduced the SAP SuccessFactors App Center as a one-stop shop to discover the breadth and depth of our HR partner applications, including ADP Added Value Services, Benefitfocus, Castlight, Docusign, First Advantage, Limeade and Workforce Software among several others. With the open ecosystem of the SAP PartnerEdge Build program, our partners are delivering innovative solutions that seamlessly connect with SAP SuccessFactors solutions using APIs, Intelligent Services and SAP Cloud Platform.

Continuing this journey, we are now enriching the capabilities of the App Center such that customers can not only discover HR apps, but also buy them easily and securely. The next generation SAP App Center, launched today at SAPPHIRE NOW 2017, is a digital enterprise-marketplace of our partner applications.

We’re also introducing trials for apps, and rolling out the capability to deploy apps built on SAP Cloud Platform directly from the SAP App Center. For HR administrators, this easy button discovery and self-service supports faster deployment of innovations without requiring implementation support.

By enabling easy discovery, trial and deployment of applications, we have been able to build a strong ecosystem of partners with great solutions. One such application is JobPts for HR teams to make customized peer-to-peer recognition programs. Built on the SAP Cloud Platform, the application makes it simple for employees to give reward points to colleagues, integrating behind the scenes with SAP SuccessFactors as well as SAP Ariba on products and services for which points can be reimbursed.

Similarly, MintMesh is an application for employee referral management that integrates with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting. This mobile-first app uses gamification to engage employees to recommend qualified candidates from their network for openings at their company.

Apps like JobPts and MintMesh solve for specific HR processes in a creative way with a simple, intuitive and enjoyable experience for employees. By bringing together niche solutions like these, we have curated the most comprehensive marketplace for HR leaders to start building unique experiences for their employees. A workspace that allows you to plug in your favorite apps to track goals, manage time, coordinate team work and manage other aspects of work life is not of the future, but rather one expected today. Enabling that choice and ease while everything connects to your core HR in a simple way will give a competitive edge to leading employers.
