ONESOURCE – Tax & Accounting – Thomson Reuters:- Reporting (MS SQL/Windows) Installation

You successfully installed Data File Integrator (DFI) and now you are on next step to install Reporting

  • Install 7.ZIP (This is what extract files faster)
  • Extract installation files using 7zip
    • Data Services
    • BOBj
  • Run \scripts\CreateReportingUsersAndTablespaces_SQLServer.bat to create DB and users
  • Create ODBC connection to RPT_REPO database using c:\Windows\System32\odbcad32.exe (Native)
    • System DSN
    • Name: RPT_REPO
    • Server : hostname
    • SQL Authentication
      • User : RPT_REPO and Password
  • Run Setup.exe of BOBJ installation : DC00R-6WE0G3M-W70WP04-GA200WC-7D
    • Custom install
    • Software selection (Installation Guide)
    • Start New
    • No Auditing DB
    • RPT_REPO and Select Reset Existing DB

Select Components as shown below:

Installation is successful

  • Copy sqljdbc4.jar to tomcat’s lib folder of business object
  • Edit SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\java\CRConfig.xml
    • In line 15 add = R:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\tomcat\lib\sqljdbc4.jar;
<Classpath>R:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\tomcat\lib\sqljdbc4.jar;R:\Program Files (x86)\SAP .................. </Classpath>
  • Add “R:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\sapjvm\bin” to System environment variable PATH
  • Open CMC
    • Don’t show and close
    • Servers and open Server lists
    • Open Adaptive Job Server and open properties
    • In Command line parameters add:
      -RequestTimeout 6000000​
    • Restart server Service
  • Log off CMC

 

You successfully installed Certificate Manager software. Now we are going to install Data Services
