With the kick-off of SAP’s most important event, the “SAPPHIRE NOW and the ASUG Annual Conference”, it is indeed a proud moment for us to announce the availability of Partner Packaged Solutions on the SAP Best Practices Explorer (SAP BPX).

As you may know, we launched SAP Best Practices Explorer in September 2016 as the next generation web channel to search, browse and consume SAP Best Practices. Since then, we have gotten tremendous attention and interest from our Partner Eco-System to leverage our web channel to promote their Best Practices focusing on various industries/ niche-areas, and thereby helping SAP to expand its reach on customer base.

First set of partner packages already live on BPX

As a result, we came up with a SAP Cloud Platform based offering, SAP Best Practices Package Manager, which provides Qualified Partners a simple way to author and request publishing of their Best Practices on SAP BPX.

This new concept is well received by our partners, as Mark Albrecht, Vice President Global Business Solutions from itelligence, states: “Industry specific template solutions have been key elements of itelligence global implementation strategy for years. With the new Business Explorer concept for S/4 1610 this even more supports our global strategy to build flexible templates as combination of Industry Extensions. This concept will support our customer to run a fast and flexible digitalization strategy.”

As our very first partner on the new SAP BPX, All for One Steeb AG provides more than 150 business processes of selected scope items. In the near future, they want to provide their entire business process library – making it available for all our customers and partners. Markus Koch, Head of Product Management Application says: “The SAP Best Practices Explorer offers high added value for all parties. With the Explorer, we have yet another possibility to present our scope items, which we entirely developed for SAP S/4HANA, while our customers and prospectives are provided with solutions by the entire SAP cosmos.

We just started with the first set of partner packages on May 10th. With today’s kick-off of SAPPHIRE we already have 6 partners live on the BPX, counting 9 packages – and this is just the beginning: We are targeting 100 partner packages by the end of this year! We look forward to even more contributions to come within the next couple of days and weeks, and even months.
