Hear how Moen Improved its Manufacturing Execution with SAP

SAPPHIRENOW in Orlando is less than 2 weeks away – it starts Tuesday, May 16th in Orlando, FL. There will be hundreds of sessions you can attend that will stimulate fresh thinking and facilitate the sharing of industry expertise. We want you to be able to take advantage of industry best practices and innovations and overcome the challenges of today’s digital world.

I want to highlight this session by Moen – and how they worked with SAP to build a stable, scalable manufacturing execution system to plan, schedule and execute production in a more efficient way. Check out some of the benefits in the abstract and see  details of their session below.

SCM7324:  Moen Success Story of Implementing Discrete Manufacturing

Speaker: Raj Veena and Brian Koester,

In 2015, Moen embarked on an 18-month journey to move to the SAP Manufacturing Execution for Discrete Manufacturing rapid-deployment solution. The key objectives were to move away from customized solutions and to use standard functionality to plan, schedule, and execute production processes. Moen was able to build a business and system process that is stable, scalable, and repeatable. This resulted in a 30 percent increase in schedule attainment; 40 percent and 20 percent reduction in work-in-progress and plant inventory respectively; 55 percent cost reduction in cycle-count adjustment; and improved service levels.

Date: Thursday 11:00am – 12:00pm

Location:  ASUG, S330F
