CPQ6965 Update on SAP S/4HANA for Advanced Variant Configuration / Thu May 19 / 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. / S331C (South Concourse, Level 3) Speakers: Steve Schneider, Steelcase Inc and Stefan Kienzle, SAP / Last year during the SAPPHIRE NOW conference and ASUG Annual Conference, SAP announced that a new version of the variant configuration software functionality would be built and released in SAP S/4HANA. This presentation reveals how the customer influence group that is defining the requirements for SAP works. The session will cover the topics being discussed and developed, as well as the methods of working together to enable a rapid, agile delivery of an advanced variant configuration engine within SAP S/4HANA.

CPQ9274 Interactive Influence: Life-Influencing: SAP Hybris Cloud Solutions for Configure, Price, Quote / Thu May 19 / 03:30 p.m. – 04:30 p.m. / ASUG HUB – Influence B (Show Floor) Speakers: Harald Reitz, SAP and Mitch Clark, SAP / SAP Hybris is extending its omnichannel CPQ offering, moving towards a public cloud based Software as a Service (SaaS) model with microservices. SAP would like to get input and collect business requirements regarding the planned offering for cloud-based product configuration, pricing, and product configuration intelligence, used by direct sales and by end-customers, dealers, and distributors in e-commerce.

David Parrish is the Global Director of Industrial Machinery & Components Solutions Marketing for SAP. Before joining SAP, David held various product and industry marketing positions with J.D. Edwards, PeopleSoft, and QAD going back to 1999. Prior to J.D. Edwards, Dave held transportation, warehouse, manufacturing, purchasing, and materials management roles in the industrial, automotive, and medical device sectors. Dave has a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Illinois-Urbana, an MBA in Transportation Management from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and a Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
