Product Information
Concur Integration: SAP Financials with Concur
Overview
Cloud-based Concur travel and expense solutions enable users to plan trips and create expense reports. This information is typically transferred to financial systems for posting. Integration with SAP S/4HANA Cloud enables users to export cost objects such as cost centers, internal orders, and WBS elements to Concur and import expense reports and cash advances ready for posting to SAP S/4HANA. The integration can be performed as a direct connection or via the SAP Cloud Integration.
Story
One of our project is to make an integration from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to Concur.
The business scope is showing as follow.
The process flow for S/4 to Concur is showing as the following picture.
To make it briefly, the key process flows are:
- Set up system connection (Middleware optional)
- Export master data
- Maintain integration of Financial Posting
For our developer, we support this process flow by using integration flow
We use the following functionalities for the integration via SAP Cloud Integration
Export of Master Data
- Export of Employee Data (Supported only in SAP ERP)
- Export of Cost Objects
- Export of Cost Centers
- Export of Internal Orders
- Export of Project WBS Elements
- Export of Sales Order Items (Supported only in SAP ERP)
- Export of Networks (Supported only in SAP ERP)
- Export of Network Activities (Supported only SAP ERP)
Import of Transactional Data
- Import of Expense Reports
- Posting of Expense Reports
The configuration of the integration is performed in the SAP financial system. In the SAP ERP it can be started using transaction CTE_SETUP. In SAP S4/HANA Cloud use the “Setting Up the Integration with Concur” App.

Hi Mr. Zheng,
Thank you for sharing this information.
But I am not sure how to implement the technical implementation in SAP CPI.
I made the copy of the package for my workspace, but the option "configure", it presents a message saying: "No attributes available for quick configuration in the selected artifact" and it does not have the edit option available.
Would you have any documents on the configuration of SAP CPI?
Thanks you.
Hi!
Did you ever found how to configure it? I'm having the same problem...
Hello,
Just wondering did you manage to find out how to configure? i am hitting the same issue here. Thanks.
I'm afraid I'm in the same place. No luck so far.
You find anything to sort out this?
Anyone manage on how to configure this?
Hello All
Did anyone managed to get this working? Seems like this is a common problem across CPI platforms. Any idea on the version where this is fixed? or a alternate resolution?
Thanks,
Vijay
Hi All,
We cannot configure any parameters in this artifact as all the externalized parameters are configured only in S4 and passed in the header from S4 to CPI.
Thanks,
Tinu Jose
Hi All,
I have updated this blog. The hyperlinks are up to date now and the SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) has renamed to SAP Cloud Integration.
The integration flow is neither configurable nor editable. All parameters are configured from S4 side. The integration flow just route through the requests from S4 to Concur.
Regards,
Jim
