Portal Iview very close to left side of the browser window

Issue Background:

This is a generic issue for portal iviews where the application is very close to the browser and need some let side padding. One of the scenarios we faced is listed below:

We are using SAP Net weaver portal Version 7.4. On opening one of the iview, it was observed that the application was too close to the left side of the browser (highlighted by red).

This was bit annoying and need to be fixed.

Solution:

Right click on the iview, open properties and set the following properties.

1. Tray = True
2. Tray Type = Plain
3. Show Tray = True

Result: The application will be shifted to right.
