It’s only been three months since I joined SAP and I’m already in love with the office. There are fantastic people, awesome culture, and a cool work environment.
Precisely, I’m a part of the SAP iXp program (Internship Experience Project) and joined the PI Analytics Hana DW Modelling team in the Bengaluru campus this past January. Working for SAP Labs, India, I get to work on some of the latest cutting-edge technologies and take part in building SAP’s future.
Currently, my project involves feature enhancement for one of the SAP HANA modelling component using object-oriented JavaScript and SAPUI5 framework. As the project follows agile development, I am required to write the unit test cases for the same using QUnit.
Contributing to a live project is very satisfactory. It helps you realize your share in the project.
If you are a beginner like me and feel overwhelmed after reading the team’s name, there’s nothing to worry about! The people on the team will eventually make you understand what technologies they are working on and how you can also get on the track with them.
All you need to do is be curious.

My typical day starts with entering the cubicle with a cup of flavored milk in one hand and lassi/fruit in the other. The rest of the day is composed of work, coffee breaks, and typically ends with foosball in the evenings.
I can say that SAP is a company which can make you wake up on Mondays without the stress lines on your head. Career growth, a chill environment, and quality work are all top values here.
