In March the two SAP developers Bernd Dittrich and Christoph Eichin travelled from Walldorf to Berlin to meet one of the first residents of the SAP IoT Startup Accelerator – the promising logistics startup Synfioo.
Excitement, curiosity and maybe a bit of fear was in the air. The team of Synfioo had been in calls with colleagues from Walldorf before but never in a cross-examination for two whole days. Bernd and Christoph on the other hand had taken two days of their valuable time to come to Berlin and now hoped to make the most out of it.
But it quickly showed that there was a lot of passion for digital logistics and technical solutions. They got along straight away with one great vision to digitize transportation for the benefit of joint customers.
We talked to both separately after the workshop. Find out what they had to say:
Working with SAP Digital Logistics: Startup Synfioo
Marian Pufahl, co-founder of IoT startup Synfioo, about working with the SAP developers of SAP Digital Logistics out of the SAP IoT Startup Accelerator in Berlin
“I did not expect to get so much in detail about technical stuff in our interface description. For example, on times and dates: is it in UTC, does it include all the time zones, how many languages do we support? Now we are talking about two to three. In an SAP world, you have to include all languages”.
SAP Digital Logistics: Let’s talk about Synfioo
Bernd Dittrich, Development Architect for SAP Digital Logistics, tells us about his first impression on working with Synfioo out of the SAP IoT Startup Accelerator in Berlin.
“It was really good that we come to Berlin and talk to them. Just knowing them from Power Points I was skeptic. After looking at interfaces and talking about use cases I am convinced that it fits well to us and that we can go ahead and build a prototype together with a customer”
