Hi Christian,
I am glad to see new SP4 features. On the meanwhile: any update about the publication of the Webi reports content through OData services? Any chance to see it on SP4?
Thx
Hi,
Please could you develop a little bit more the enhancement request you're asking here please?
Thank you,
GB
Hi Alfons,
No, we have not exposed Web Intelligence through OData services in SAP BI 4.2 SP4.
Regards,
Christian
Hi Gregory,
Of course. The idea is the following: currently Webi allows to publish the content of webi reports by means of the BI Services (based on SOAP technology)
Question is: why not allow also that Webi publishes webi report content by using rest-based web services based on OData specification?
BI Services are extremely difficult to be parsed. By replacing them by Odata-like one webI will become an extremely powerful data store.

Hi Christian,
Are you going to be adding a blog entry for SP8? I find these very useful.
Many thanks.
Steve
Hi Stephen,
Indeed, I haven't write any for SAP BI 4.2 SP8 since it was mainly a maintenance Support Package with defects correction and new supported databases.
Expect new innovations to now be released in the SAP BI 4.3 branch, for which I've just added a blog entry.
Regards,
Christian
Hi Christian,
Thanks to your whole team for their work in adding all the features they did, looking forward to using the cool new features.
With that being said, still a lot of work to be done, waiting for the next release already!
Thanks,
Mahboob Mohammed
Hi Mahboob,
Thank you. You are correct, there are still a lot of work and our backlog keeps growing with new requests from our users. But, we are already working on it and plan to also deliver a great Support Package 3!
Best Regards,
