Video Series on How to Create a Data Flow in SAP BW/4HANA

Data modeling has a central entry point in BW/4HANA: the data flow in the BW Modeling Tools. The data flow is used to model all the objects and their relationships with each other.

As an author in user assistance, I usually describe editors and functions in task topics. However, with the graphical editor for data flows, it seemed quite hard to describe what needs to be done to create a data flow. I felt that it is so much easier to show what you have to do. So we decided to create a series of videos – we being me and colleagues from Product Management.

To give you an idea of how to create a data flow, we have created a video for a complete scenario. To make it easier for you to work with data flows, we show you some tips and tricks and best practices for working with data flows in a series of videos, e.g. the easiest way to create objects, how to create data flows as templates, and how to work with large data flows.
