We are pleased to provide you the update that the decision has been made to extend the support of SAP BusinessObjects XI3.1 with one additional year of Priority One support.
Up to now, the End of Life for SAP BusinessObjects XI3.1 was planned on december 31st 2017, however due to a vast number of requests to extend the support for XI3.1 we have decided to do a final and last extension of the support for SAP BusinessObjects XI3. As of now the support of XI3.1 and by this the End of Life for SAP BusinessObjects XI3.1 will be on
December 31st 2018.
Be noted that this extension is a
one time extension! There will be no support (no further extension) after this period on XI3.1.

Product Availability Matrix for SAP BusinessObjects XI3.1.
Support has been extended under the Priority One format as documented
here.
In case you are currently running SAP BusinessObjects XI3.1, we would like to urge you to start planning the upgrade into the SAP BusinessObjects BI4.2 platform and be secured from ongoing improvements, support packages and patches. For SAP BusinessObjects XI3.1 no support packages will be released anymore. For the support of new Data Sources, Operating Systems, Web Application Server and other components, you will need to upgrade into SAP BusinessObjects BI4.2.
