Change web logon screen for BPC 10.1 NW

BPC 10.1 NW has a HTML5 based web client, the default logon page of BPC is standard SAP NetWeaver. Customer may would like to change this logon screen to make it more consistent with other web based application’s logon screen. Like for S/4 HANA(Finance) customers, they may want to make the logon screen same as Fiori logon screen. This may be achieved by modifying BPC web service configuration.



 

Find the BPC web service

1. Logon to BPC server from SAP Gui and goto transaction SICF -> Execute


2. Select ‘External Aliases’


3. Find BPC service ‘/sap/emp/bpc/web’ as below.

 

Configure logon screen for this web service

1. Click button ‘Edit’.


2. Select tab ‘Error pages’.


3. Select radio button ‘System logon’


4. Click button ‘Configuration’ beside the ‘System logon’


5. In the popup selection radio button ‘Define Service-Specific Settings’.

Now you would be able to

• Change SAP NW pre-delivered logon layout and theme


• Change to custom logon layout(including Fiori logon layout)


• Change text and image of logon screen


• Select fields to be displayed on logon screen and set default values.


• Define actions during logon.

 

Change logon screen same as Fiori default logon screen

Select radio button ‘Custom Implementation’ and input ABAP class ‘/UI2/CL_SRA_LOGIN’.



 

Refresh you web logon page you will see



 

ERP system always has multiple clients, for BPC optimized for S/4HANA(Finance) scenario, user may also need to change logon client when logon to BPC.

To display client and language simply mark the checkboxes in the configuration screen.
