On February 6th, craig.cmehil and myself had the pleasure of meeting students and alumni at the University of Illinois at Chicago for the first edition of the HXE CodeJam.
Some of the people there were familiarized with the concept behind HANA but this would be their first time using a HANA instance.
Added to their initial discovery process was our pioneering with the topic. Although this may sound as a formula for chaos, everybody walked away with their own HANA, express edition, up and running, some tips to continue developing applications with the server-only version.
The event was organized in conjunction with SAP University Alliances. Don Ginocchio, who helped us put the event together, started the giving a quick introduction to SAP.
