Co-innovation:

  • We supported the successful go-live of the strategic mobile implementations. For one of our projects, we introduced a wrapper component which significantly improved the usability and the performance of the apps (improving app to app navigation performance, improving backward navigation for the sake of data view consistency). That was a significant improvement of the Fiori apps implemented by the customer. We successfully helped to resolve some issues during the installations and go-lives by sending resources to provide on-site support. The Migros project has triggered a new SAPUI5 project “Cheeta” to significantly improve the performance of Fiori apps on the Android devices.

  • In 2016 we had the first productive FCE (Fiori Cloud Edition) customers.

  • We started to co-innovate a Fashion app with a US fashion retailer. The app is for transferring products e.g. at the end of the season. The customer will go live with the app in May 2017.

  • We supported some sales cycles. We helped the Field Organization to make a POC to support the camera barcode scanning (utilizing a camera scanner of “scandit”).

  • We conducted design thinking sessions with different customers with the goal to improve the apps for S/4HANA.

  • We co-innovated with Intel and the innovation team in Waterloo and produced a POC to enhance In-Store business processes with RFID.

  • The team in Montreal worked with the innovation team in Waterloo to use Dynamic Edge Processing to enable the app for count stock for full offline as a POC.

  • We successfully rolled out the In-Store Merchandising on S/4HANA by conducting several internal and external knowledge transfer sessions.

Roadmap 2017 - We plan to be focused on:

  • Deliver an app for transfer products on business suite and S/HANA in an intensive co-innovation with a fashion retailer

  • Support the go-lives

  • Deliver a store overview page on S/4HANA

  • Deliver Object Pages on S/4HANA

  • Enable Catch Weight Management for In-Store Merchandising, e.g. showing some information on the app look up products and allow to enter quantities in a parallel unit of measure for other apps.

  • Deliver Head Quarter initiated Stock Transfer Order

  • Enhance the app Look up retail products to support e.g. variant matrix and to display more promo information

Reference Content:

We plan to produce reference content with our customers that are live.

Our future roadmap would be driven by our customers and implementations:

In-Store Merchandising Edge to Core Innovations and IoT:

  • We plan to define an IoT reference architecture for In-Store and for integration of Edge to Core processes, consuming sensor data, RFID data and analytics
