SAP ICC – Outlook for 2017
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has always been dedicated to help you certify your product on the latest technologies, thereby increasing your reach into our large SAP customer community. Every year, we offer new certifications scenarios across a variety of SAP applications and technology solutions, so customers can chose more applications and extensions both from SAP and our partners to run their business. In 2017 our focus areas are SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Cloud Platform and SAP BW/4HANA.
With the next generation of SAP Business Warehouse, SAP ICC has released new certification opportunities: SAP BW/4HANA is a new data warehousing solution from SAP, built entirely on our advanced in-memory platform, SAP HANA. The highlights of this new solution are the simple data flow, newer user experience, openness and the high performance. The number of objects have been reduced and reporting is possible at many layers of the scalable architecture. The certifications are possible for interfaces using the OLAP BAPIs, OLE DB for OLAP, XMLA and scheduling APIs. BW/4HANA certification is priced at 10,000 Euros and valid for three years.
In 2017, SAP ICC will also continue our strong focus on SAP HANA Cloud Platform and partners deploying apps or extensions on our platform. Your app will earn a “SAP-certified” logo taking advantage of our branding to facilitate go-to-market – altogether with a simple pricing structure starting at a low fee of 1,500 Euros.
At the end of 2016, SAP S/4HANA 1610 was released to our customers. Our latest release builds on the success of SAP S/4HANA edition 1511, with brand new functions and significant simplifications across the lines of business, completely harmonized with SAP Fiori 2.0, and available for all industries. Highlights of the new release include: Expanded scope to include SAP Extended Warehouse Management, SAP S/4HANA Finance, and Master Data Governance; Consistent user experience across the board with SAP Fiori 2.0; Industry roadmap completion with Oil & Gas and Retail; Core innovations across the suite, including embedded software functionality for smart products and advanced Available to Promise; Embedded Analytics with Core Data Services (CDS) – cube and dimension CDS views available for customer usage; New Best Practice content for additional countries such as Belgium, China, France, Philippines, Netherlands, Hungary, Singapore, Australia, Canada, and UK, plus country-specific SAP Fiori apps. Partners are working with us to ensure their solution supports S/4HANA customers. For 2017, SAP ICC is working on even more integration scenarios for partner solutions to support the SAP S/4HANA landscapes. We will publish these scenarios as they become available. Let us know at icc@sap.com if you are interested in a specific integration scenario for SAP S/4HANA.
Moreover, in order to stay innovative on latest technology and meet our partner’s certification goals, SAP ICC has introduced a new pricing structure that will be effective from May 1st, 2017.
