Before selling solutions or applications, partners must obtain the relevant sell authorizations as specified within the PartnerEdge program. The following is a comprehensive and detailed guide on how to obtain the necessary sell authorization.
Next, review the Overview of Sell Authorization Requirements by Product Group, and you will find the required role-based training and tests organized by product groups.
For example, to complete the SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public) sell authorization, you need to have the access to SAP PartnerEdge – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Learning Room (Available SAP PartnerEdge Learning Rooms). Then, click each required course to complete the training and web assessment via PartnerEdge Learning Hub.
The tests consist of either web assessments or proctored exam at a certified testing center for SAP certification, or a combination of both, depending on the employee’s role and the type of training.
The Sales, Presales and Customer Engagement Executive training are usually free of charge (A score of 80% or more is necessary to pass), but you have to pay for the solution consultant training and certification. Please find more information about using SAP Learning Hub, professional edition to complete the training.
To find out what assessments you have already passed, click on the web assessment directly. If you get a pass notification you do not need to take this assessment again. If you see the welcome screen you have not passed the web assessment and need to complete it.
Sell Authorization is achieved when the required numbers of employees in your organization pass the mandatory sales, presales, and in some cases solution consultant tests for the product groups your organization sells.
