Powerbuilder 12.6 will not install on Windows 10

due fact that the old SCN-Blogs / postings are archived and cannot be extended. I would like to give additional Information to the original topic (https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3888348).

I had the installation issue with PowerBuilder 12.6 on an DELL Lattitude i5-6300U with Windows 10 Pro (64Bit, 16GB RAM). This device had a multitouch display (10 touchpoints).

I got only the splash screen even installing and running PB126.exe as administrator.

I had had to kill the TabTip.exe Process. When Killing TabTip.exe the TabTip32.exe although shuts
down. After killing that Process PB12.6 starts up.



The the Powerbuilder behavior is identical using the first release or using the current EBF4108 (PB 12.6 SP00 PL10 (EBF 26538 Build 4108))
