These Release Notes focus on new features and improvements delivered as part of the WebClient UI Framework EhP4 Support Package 03.

Administrator Experience

The features below were added to improve the Administrator’s experience using the backend of the WebClient UI.

Navigation Bar Icons from SAP Icon Font

This feature enables you to access the SAP Icon Font for configuring the Navigation Bar.

Search Criteria and Result List Multiple Field Selection

This feature enables you to select multiple fields and move them from one list to the other in the Search Criteria Configuration and the Result List Configuration.

When you configure your Search Criteria, you can now select multiple Available Search Criteria or Selected Search Criteria at once and move the selected fields using the arrow buttons or drag and drop.

When you configure your Result List, you can now select multiple Available Columns or Displayed Columns at once and move the selected fields using the arrow buttons or drag and drop.

If you select fields from one list and use the arrow button to move them to the other, they will be inserted in the other list as follows:

• If no fields are selected in the list receiving the new fields, they will go to the end of the list.
• If one field is selected in the list receiving the new fields, they will go under the selected one.
• If multiple fields are selected in the list receiving the new fields, they will go under the field selected which is closest to the end of the list.

If you select fields from one list and use the drag and drop feature, you can drop them anywhere on the list.

Note

You must have Configuration Mode enabled in the Personalization Settings.

Find Functionality in GenIL Model Browser

This feature enables you to find elements in the GenIL Model Browser tree. By adding the Find and Find Next buttons to your Application Toolbar, you can search the tree. The results are highlighted and the tree automatically expands to show you the selected item.

Additional Details

Your search string is not case-sensitive and you can use wildcard characters. The asterisks (*) represents any character string and the plus sign (+) represents any single character.

This feature searches only the tree and does not allow you to search the detail area.

Rich Text Editor Upgrade to TinyMCE Version 4

With this feature you can upgrade the version of TinyMCE for the WEBCUIF Rich Text Editor.

User Experience

The features below were added to improve the user experience using the backend of the WebClient UI.

Show Number of Filtered Items

When applying filters to a Results List from a search, following the number of results found, the number of filtered items is displayed. For example, Results List: 20 Items found (4 rows filtered).

Increased Number of Items Displayed in Dropdown Lists

With this feature, the number of items able to be displayed in dropdown lists has been increased to 20.

Navigation Bar Auto Hide

This features enables you to hide the navigation bar so that it is only visible when you mouse over it or pin it to the work area.
