Updated German Monthly VAT Return – SAP Business ByDesign

As a part of 2017 legal changes to German Monthly VAT Return, the VAT Return in ByDesign has been enhanced to capture characteristics – Further Facts to be Considered and Cause.

You can now indicate if further facts have to be considered for a VAT Return. You can do this by marking Further Facts to be Considered to true and specifying the reason under Cause, before releasing the VAT Return. If the VAT Return document is enabled to consider further facts, the corresponding German monthly VAT Return file will show the tags <kz23> with value 1 and <kz23_Begruendung> with the cause description.

In addition, the file will no longer show tags corresponding to amount fields with value zero.
