Placing an order just got easier with a new process that eliminates the paper-based Download Letter with an online solution through SAP’s Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) system.
Instead of a paper-based Download Letter, SAP is providing all relevant information (download user and password, legal clause) online when sending you an approved quote
- No more manual effort. No need to print, sign, scan and upload a Download Letter
- Automated process. All information is provided via Q2C
- Easy access. You now get access to the products of the quote bill-of-material instead of the complete SAP portfolio
- Improved experience. You determine your Download User.
What do you need to do?
In MMP, maintain the person who will receive your software downloads with the function Partner Sales Operations and ensure they have the main flag. That’s it! Nothing more. Then, once this process becomes available in your country (phased rollout with all countries to be live by April/May) when you use the Q2C system, everything else is automatically triggered.
