TechEd 2016 mobile overview – SAP TechEd Lecture of the Week

Let me recap some key highlights from this year mobile TechEd Sessions. The big news of course where around the SAP and Apple partnership. We also announced our new product “SAP Content to Go”. And lots of deep dive sessions where we went into the details on how to build mobile apps.

Since we released SAP HANA Cloud Platform, mobile service for development and operations 1611 we had a lot of new stuff to show and talk about.

SAP and Apple partnership
The session MOB101: SAP and Apple: Revolutionize the Mobile Work Experience gives an introduction to our new SDK.

If you want to have more details on this topic we also released an Open SAP course. SAP Fiori for iOS – An Introduction. In week 3 I give an overview of the new SDK. Stay tuned here on SCN for more details to come in the next weeks.

SAP Content to Go
Sanjeet Mall showed in his session MOB204: Supercharge the Power of Mobile Users to Consume Data from SAP S/4HANA how to enable your users to move corporate data out of SAP S/4HANA or other systems with a few clicks. We showed how to bring data from your corporate back-end software to the new “SAP Content to Go” mobile app. With SAP Content to Go, your users can consume corporate data delivered from SAP software quickly and easily.
