Software Development on SAP HANA (Update Q4/2016) – Key Metrics

In early 2016, Thomas Jung and Rich Heilman introduced in a one week nutshell course on openSAP, to provide insights to the new architectural and programming model concepts with SAP HANA in SPS 11.

At the end of 2016, they came back and gave a detailed and comprehensive overview on the new and improved features that were introduced in SAP HANA SPS 11 and 12 with Software Development on SAP HANA (Update Q4/2016). A freedom of choice in technologies, tools and deployment options for high-scale development and operation of native SAP HANA applications result from all the architectural changes presented in this course.

Hands-on exercises completed the course material and, for the first time, it was possible to do these exercises in SAP HANA Express.
