Using DataDirect Cloud to connect SAP BusinessObjects Cloud with SFDC

PART 1 – Create connection in DataDirect Cloud

1. Sign up for DataDirect Cloud Trial
2. The first step is to create a Data Source definition. On the Dashboard, you can click on ‘Data Sources’ tab to the left of Dashboard and then you would have to click on ‘Data Stores’ on the Next Screen.



3. Select Salesforce.com and enter your connection information



4. Click Test Connection. If you have entered your information correctly, you should get a “Connection Established Successfully” notification



5. Under OData tab, select ‘Edit Configuration’ for Schema Map



6. Configure your schema



7. Save the schema. Save Connection




 

PART 2 – Create OData connection using SAP BusinessObjects Cloud

1. Go under Connections tab in SAP BusinessObjects Cloud


2. Select OData connection



3. Configure OData connection (note that you will be using DataDirect Cloud credentials for User Name and Password)




4. Create New Query (note only the tables exposed from DataDirect Cloud Schema editor will be seen here)





5. Build Query
