IoT and UX – Hackathon (for developers, designers) was organized by SAP and МТS in SAP Labs office on October 20 and 21.
More than 40 attendees had to develop the best solution based on SAP HANA Cloud Platform for the clients and business of МТS. Participants had only 2 days. All the attendees were successful with this task, although it was not too easy.
The results of the Hackathon were 7 application prototypes.
Members of the jury, based on their experience and competence, carry out the assessment of these prototypes in three categories:
IoT – best IoT solution for МТS
UX client – best UX solution for МТS-clients
UX inside – best UX solution for МТS-employees
The jury consisted of 3 members:
Dmitry Khomchenko - IT director, MTS
Shamil Khayretdinov - Logistics Department Director, MTS
Andrey Goryainov - Head of Database & Data Management, SAP CIS
The winners in each category received grants for 100 000, 70 000 and 70 70 000 Rubles, respectively.
SAP HANA Cloud Platform was highly appreciated by the participants of the event for simplicity and capability. Given the minimal training, the platform will allow the team in just 2 days to make working prototypes.
The attendees created successful prototypes using this platform only for 2 days.
