This is a little blog with some information about Google Maps and Bing Maps mashup to SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer (C4C).
This option can be used to view a map within the system with your visits or customer accounts.
The Maps mashup can be Google Maps or Bing Maps type.
Bing Maps - it is applicable just for Silverlight User Interface (UI).
Google Maps - it is applicable just for HTML5 User Interface (UI).
A particularity is that is not possible to have the both mashups running for the same tenant at same time. It is necessary to choose just one UI to have this functionality working, or Silverligh or HTML5.
If it happens you probably will receive an error message informing you that the service is with some issue.
Other interesting thing to be mentioned is that to activate the Bing Maps, first is necessary to contact the Microsoft to get an API KEY, that is the license of use to Bing Maps.
For Google Maps, this API KEY will be installed when you to send a request to enable the mashup to SAP, trough incident opened from the tenant that you want apply the mashup.
