Create warehouse to store stock in SAP HYBRIS using Hybris Management Console(HMC)

In this blog post, I am going to explain how to create a new warehouse.

The following provides an introduction to the Warehouse functionality.

The Back office Order Fulfillment Cockpit Warehouse page allows you to: 

  • Search for warehouses by location name.
  • View warehouse information, such as the name, default status, priority, vendor, and points of service.
  • Edit warehouse information.
  • View stock levels at the warehouse.
  • View consignment entry information associated with the warehouse.

Creating a warehouse using HMC

Follow the steps.

Step 1: Login to HCM ( Hybris Console Management)

Provide user id and password and click on LOGIN

Step 2: Go to Base Commerce–> select Warehouse –> right click on it -> Create Warehouse.

The following screen will appear

Provide below details

CODE: Provide a unique Code for Warehouse. (Here providing Sample_Warehouse)

NAME: Sample Warehouse

Default: Select the checkbox

To add Base store right click and select Add Base Store as shown.


The new search window will open search for power tools. select power tools and click on use.

After providing all the details the screen with values will look as shown.

Go to Administration tab and provide Vendor details: (We can provide the existing vendor details)



Step 3: After providing all mandatory fields click on CREATE Button   .

After Create Save it by clicking on save.

Finally we have done with creation of warehouse.

      Great blog Lavanya! After installing the Hybris ecommerce 6.2, the \hmc extension does not exist. Do you know if SAP has taken away the \hmc ext? If not what recipe does the extension exist in?
