SAP Business ByDesign HTML5 UI 16.11 – Access and Availability

Dear Business ByDesign Users,

in order to explore the new HTML5 UI in your SAP Business ByDesign productive tenant you need to change your URL.

How-to change your URL to access the HTML5 UI on YOUR OWN productive tenant

Please change the main URL as shown in the example below.
If your main URL for your productive tenant is https://my123456.sapbydesign.com/, 
please change the following URL accordingly and fill in the right numbers of YOUR productive tenant:
https://myXXXXXX.sapbydesign.com/sap/public/byd/runtime?client_type=html
 In this example “123456″ have been added –>https://my123456.sapbydesign.com/sap/public/byd/runtime?client_type=html

Please find below the SSO URL to access HTML 5 UI:
https://myXXXXXX-sso.sapbydesign.com/sap/byd/runtime?client_type=html

Please note how the sso url is different from  a non-sso one:

1. –sso has been added after myXXXXXX
2. /public is not shown after /sap compared to the non-sso URL

WoC Availability and Road map

Please keep in mind that you will only be able to see the UI5 transitioned WoCs and Views.

If you need to use WoCs that are not yet available in the HTML5 UI it is recommended to remain on Silverlight until all WoCs are available.

The 16.11 feature pack will not be fully functional but covers most areas in the following WoCs:

• CRM
• FIN
• SRM
• SRM
• Self-Services

The remaining applications (HCM, PRO and SCM) are planned to be available until mid-2017.
