SAP Multichannel Foundation for Utilities and Public Sector (MCF) is now available for SAP S/4HANA 1610.
While MCF for ERP requires the installation of ERP add-on "UMCERP01", this is no longer necessary as MCF has become part of the digital core of S/4HANA 1610.
Next to moving the code from the ERP add-on into the FI-CA and IS-PS-CA layers on SAP S/4HANA, a new SAPUI5 UI template is shipped in a new SAP Gateway add-on called UIS4MCF.
The UI template provides out-of-the-box integration with the MCF OData services and supports accessibility as well as responsive UI rendering.
