I want to share with you a mistake which was not easy to analyze.
I tried to upload new commodity codes from SOVA file using TCode VE94.
To avoid not to enter always again starting positions of commodity code, text and special unit of measure I saved my entries from last year within a selection variant.
Now I want to run this report, but always received this message:
Maintain the length of the comm.code / import code no. in table T609S for the country DE
Message no.
EI025
This message did not make sence as this setting is already given.
After some analysis I found out that the variable
P_VEREI is used as parameter, but is invisible
PARAMETERS: P_VEREI LIKE T609R-VEREI NO-DISPLAY.
After I ran this report (
RVEXSOVA) without using a variable it worked.
Background was that the variable is filled at the time of calling TCode
VE94.
At this time the variable will be set (for
VE94 it will be value "
2").
As the parameter is not shown within selevtion variant this will not be saved and so
P_VEREI will be overwritten with empty value.
Simply run this report without used selection variant and you will not have any issue.
