CenterPoint Energy (CNP) is one of the many Fortune 500 companies who put their trust in SAP MaxAttention. In August 2015, CNP began looking for a way to replace their existing E-Meter storage database, which was expensive to manage and nearing the end of its life. A team from SAP MaxAttention was tasked with delivering a Proof of Concept (POC) that would incorporate both HANA and a data tiering solution. The session will present the POC and how CNP will soon have a more cost-effective solution for data storage and better data-analytic capabilities.
