CodeJam in Newtown Square – Wednesday, Dec 14!
If you are an SAP application developer, or are interested in building Web applications, we have a CodeJam just for you.On Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 10 am to 4 pm, the Developer Relations group at SAP will be holding a CodeJam at the Newtown Square office, outside Philadelphia PA. The topic for our latest CodeJam is developing a web front end using HANA Cloud Platform, SAP UI5, and the SAP Web IDE.
HANA Cloud Platform supports a number of front-end technologies. In this class, we will focus on the Fiori based SAP UI5 – which generates web applications that look and feel just like the ones that come with S/4HANA. These front ends are easy to create, once you know the basic details behind them.
In this class, we will be starting from scratch, and creating the basic screens and pieces of an SAP UI5 front end. By the end of the time, you should be able to work with master-detail screens, buttons, controls, and work with moving from page to page inside of your application.
All of the work is done within SAP Web IDE, so you only need your laptop and a copy of Chrome to get started.
Come visit us in the Newtown Square office on December 14, 2016! Registration will be open soon, come back to this page for more details!
Requirements:
- A laptop
- A browser (preferably Chrome)
- An interest in developing for the web!
Lunch and snacks are on us, so just come over and learn something new!
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks a lot for the info. This is really a big thing to share the knowledge.
can you please let me know what prior knowledge do we need to get it started?
I am a ABAP developer with more than 11yrs of experience.
Thanks,
Naveen
All CodeJam events are done the same, we go with the assumption that no prior knowledge is present so you will be fine and enjoy it quite a bit!
