SAP Cloud Platform Portal Q3 ’16 Highlights Video

Take a look at our new video, introducing Q3 ’16 top releases:

• Version management for apps– Administrators can now assign multiple versions to an app through the App Resources screen in the configuration cockpit. This feature enables the Administrator to render the same app in different versions for different users in different Roles.
• Classic UI’s consumption- another useful feature we added is the ability to run classic UI’s within a site in the portal, making it possible to consume your existing business apps in the cloud.
• Internal access point landscape- it is now possible to configure an internal access point landscape, placing the user experience in the cloud while keeping critical enterprise data and processes in the datacenter.
• Portal accelerators on GitHub- HCP Portal is also expanding to an open-sourced model, where SAP contributes cloud portal content, such as apps and site templates to the open source community via GitHub.
