SMTP/SCOT SAP Mail Configuraton

Step by step procedure for SAP mail Configurration…

1. First of all, Enable the Protocol through parameter.
   • Parameter : icm/server_prot_2. 
   • Value : PROT=SMTP,PORT=25000,TIMEOUT=600. 
2. Then Restart the ICM by using the T-code SMICM.
3. Now Activate the Host services in T-code SICF.
4. Then Created one SMTP NODE and set the default Domain and port as 25 in inbound [Tcode – SCOT].
5. Then scheduled one job with the period of 5 min or what ever you want for the same. Then start a sample mail test [T-code : SO01].
