Payroll France: Are you ready for the DSN Phase 3?

Are you ready for the DSN Phase 3? The DSN Phase 3 is mandatory from payroll period 01.2017 on. It has to be used for declaring the payroll and social data of January 2017 in case of normal pay with a DSN submission before February 5, 2017 or of December 2016 in case of shifted pay with a DSN submission before January 15, 2017.

The DSN Phase 3 includes the declaration and the payment of the “Prévoyance” and the MSA contributions. It also includes the data required to substitute the DADS-U. This requires an important preparation effort including payroll schema modifications in SAP HCM. The SAP DSN Phase 3 documentation can be downloaded from the SAP Service Market Place http://service.sap.com/hrfr under menu Resources and DSN. The status of the remaining developments can be found in the DSN-Mapping File document in the same place. It will be updated on a regular basis.

Most of the DSN Phase 3 developments are available as of August 29, 2016. The remaining developments will be delivered on the fly until the end of the year.

The minimum prerequisite for starting with the DSN Phase 3 is the installation of the synchronization HR-Support Package delivered on May 11, 2016 and of all SAP Notes listed in SAP Note 2306648. The CLC installation is recommended instead of the SAP Notes installation. However the review of the DSN SAP Notes is required because manual steps are sometimes needed. The minimum prerequisite for the DSN Phase 3 final release is the synchronization HR-Support Package planned for November 10, 2016.
