Thanks for sharing this info, considering the last call we have in order to keep our actual certifications.

My only comment regarding this new model, is that is really a big change in our partner's budget, it's really a headache right now for us because we now cannot offer our team the possibility to get certified; for this big cost we can only certified a few ones, and that is just not right..

How many projects do we need to sell now only to maintain our LH annual cost? considering we cannot increase our implementation costs?. I believe this is the main concern of all partners including me.

Please I hope this new model gets reviewed and be more accessible for partners.

      Thanks.

      Hi Kheren,

      Thank you for your comments.

The reason behind the shift to Learning Hub is to ensure quality across the ecosystem. As I'm sure you are aware, solutions such as SuccessFactors and S4HANA are moving so quickly that we cannot allow Consultants (be that SAP, Partners or Independents) to not be conversant in the latest version of a product. In order to protect our joint customers, anybody touching these systems needs to be aware of the latest features and functionality in order to ensure success for our joint customers.

The focus therefore has shifted from one time enablement to one of continuous learning. By moving all content including Academy training, delta content, delta assessments and instructor facilitated virtual sessions to the learning hub, we can ensure that a Learning Hub subscription is the only requirement to maintain a high level of skills and certification. For certified consultants, there would no longer be a need for classroom training, physical exams and the associated travel and opportunity costs that go with these.

As mentioned in the blog above, we have a program to ensure all partners have appropriate access to the Learning Hub at a competitive rate. Our goal is then to ensure the Learning Hub experience provides an enegaging and continuous learning experience that you and your consultants will benefit from above and beyond simply completing any delta assessment requirements.

Please work with your local SAP Education contacts or feel free to contact me directly to discuss further.

      Kind egards
      Paul Willis
