My map of tags (only for Q&A)

Introduction

As the SCN has changed (again) and had passed forum to spaces and spaces to tags, I see that quite lacking so there is a map of tags to track, more than 2100 tags available (so far), and if you are curious about the amount, I ask you to download the Excel file that SAP has made available here

I opened a question here: “Tags, where are they?

As you can see my criticism of the current system, and the “map” is needed, although the amount map tag that has deployed SAP seems to be a madness.

So I’ll use this post to manage the tags that I find interesting to follow, or if my activity section collapse (although currently it is very quiet because no part of the new SCN, are all scared reading or are lost by the new designs … nobody knows where it is written, if answered or discussed, etc.).

Having made the introduction, go to the links of the tags.

Map for discussion’s Tags

I think this is the basic tags for “normal” people could follow.
If I found more tags, I’ll edit this post.

Thanks!

6 questions in SAP FI in 4 days... I wonder if Q&A section should be better closed, at least, until some order is restored (filtering, search, etc.)

"I wonder if Q&A section should be better closed..."

If you close it, it will be worse. 🙁

Right now people do not understand anything, imagine if they close up the space to write questions, albeit in the wrong places.

I honestly feel sorry for the moderators of SAP, I understand they "work" as volunteer as almost any moderator of any forum in the world, but these twists and turns that are making SAP regarding their support/help community, give to think not they have defined anything. I was really surprised that SAP is an enterprise software level so serious and so "unsafe" to develop a system of online community. First Jive (which seems to me a very bad script) then move on to something created "by SAP" and that is so ... poor (?) and untested, well, again I'm very surprised.

There are great systems out there, for example Discourse (which is free and open source), at least take the great ideas you have that community, that system of online communities, which is the evolution of Stack Overflow and Stack Exchange.

Okay Eli. Let's wait a couple of weeks to see what happens =)

Thanks for the list. It's helping me navigate, though there isn't much to navigate to.

      Hi all,

For EPM space related products please use my blog to see which primary tags / tag pages are being used:

Whenever I give a look to any tags list, I wonder why it did not contain in the SAP-Industry section about Oil or AFS/FMS or what about ITS(Internet Transaction Server)?

      Thanks,
      Kaushik

Thanks, Osvaldo, this was helpful. I wish I could find this blog earlier though. Kind of catch-22 - you have to find your way around first before finding the blogs that help you get around. 🙂

Also btw full list of tags is finally posted here (look for Excel file link): http://go.sap.com/community/about/using-tags.html

Not sure if you have seen this blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2016/10/14/sap-community-tags-ui5-application/#comment-350670

Helmut has built a really simply Fiori app to search tags. It would be awesome if tag hierarchy/mappings was built up and incorporate

Can we send recommendations in comments for you to add?

      Of course you can!
In the old SCN, the "documents" permits edits from other members, but right now we lost that feature too.  :-1:
