Talk to Community Experts Live on October 11, 12, and 13
On October 10, the community is getting a new home — and pretty much a new everything.
Change brings uncertainty. Change also brings many, many questions.
While we have tried to provide answers via posts, let’s face it — there’s simply no substitute for a real conversation.
With that in mind, we have scheduled a series of open-line calls during for the week of launch.
We will host three 90-minute calls held at various times to accommodate different time zones. One session will occur each day — from October 11 to 13.
During these sessions, members of the SAP community team will be on the line and available to offer assistance. You can call in at any time during these sessions and talk to us.
To join an open-line call, please use one of the numbers at the end of this post. There are options for many countries.
Depending on the day(s) you call, you’ll need to use the pass code provided for the 10th, 11th, or 12th. When you dial in, you’ll be prompted to enter the pass code.
Each day includes a link to a site where you can join an online chat. The sites also allow participants to share their screens — which might make it easier to ask and answer questions.

This is what Track in Communications does for people (not just moderators either). Quite a powerful tool which is not replaced by Activity Stream (possibly will be, but not so far). Mark a community like About SCN with "Track in Communications" and you see all the content which has been created/updated in the communities or by specific people or as individual items. So instead of being bombarded by notification emails, you can simply open your Communications folder to see the stuff you are most interested in.
Not there in Open Beta and it is a rather important missing feature. I also have About SCN items tracked and this is how I find your blog.

Yeh, I usually have the "Communications" page open on one of my monitors while working on others and it is nice to see when something new pops up....and like you said....not bombarded with emails.
I was in today’s call and was surprised that there wasn't more interest in it - we were only about 13 people...
Maybe 2nd day is still too early, as people still find their ways in the new community....

I don't know if there is a recording, and I think it wouldn't be to beneficial - the idea of the open call was to bring your own questions directly to the team.
Maybe there will be some more calls next week, I don't know...
