Connected devices, or "things", already outnumber people on the Internet, and while Gartner’s predictions for 2016 is that 6.4 Billion connected devices will be reached, it's expected that in 2020 we will reach 20.8 Billion.  The trend towards an Internet populated by machines is inescapable.  In 2016 5.5 million new things will be connected every day.[1]

Come participate in a free two day IoT Hack-a-Thon workshop from SAP Partner Engineering Services, (within the SAP P&I organization).  November 16th – November 17th, 2016 at SAP Labs in Palo Alto, CA

 

What you will learn:

 

  • SAP HANA Cloud Platform as it relates to IoT

  • IoT use cases using SAP technologies

  • SAP Data Visualization technologies and hands-on exercise

  • Connecting IoT devices to SAP HCP and hands-on exercise

  • Streaming data to SAP HANA and SAP HCP and hands-on exercise

  • Team exercises brainstorming and developing IoT use case utilizing SAP HCP

SAP Partners interested in exploring IoT and/or developing IoT solutions

 

What you need to do next:

 

 

  • Email Partner Engieering Services at partner.engineers@sap.com

  • Include: your name, title and contact information, email and telephone

  • Partner Engineering Services will send you the invitation and registration questionnaire

  • Return completed registration questionnaire to partner.engineers@sap.com

  • Partner Engineering Services will review your request notify you of their decision of acceptance via email

  • If accepted, participation is limited to 2 “seats” per approved partner
