Day 0 (Monday):

ASUG pre-conference day (more to come later)

The highlight of the night was the keynote: Link: http://events.sap.com/teched/en/session/28917

At the end of the keynote, the SAP Fiori Jam Band played.  You can see the official pictures here on this video:

Kudos to the band.

Day 2 (Tuesday)

This was the day (or night) of the Data Genius Viz-A-Thon.  More to come on this later, but time for me flew at this event. The e-mail reminder said "Come hungry for free beer, pizza, beverages and an appetite for an evening of inspiring data storytelling."

I saw someone I hadn’t seen in 20 years.

Also on Day 2, I participated in a Networking session about the SAP Mentor Advisory Board.  Thank you Matthias Steiner for setting up the session and creating the slides.

Day 3 (Wednesday)

Day 3 I participated in a networking session on new SCN. I said I liked that the new blogging site is easier to read on the mobile device.

Day 4 (Thursday)

On Friday, September 16, I received this in an e-mail

“Author book signing with Ingo Hilgefort – Mark your calendars: Ingo will join us on Thursday, September 22 from 12 – 1 pm for a book signing of his latest insiderBOOK title: Integrating SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.2 with SAP BW and SAP HANA. Pick up your complimentary copy of the book, available first to SAP TechEd attendees only, get it signed by the author, and chat with Ingo about your latest projects”

So of course I attended the free book signing:

There was a long line and hundreds of books given away.  If you missed you can obtain the book at http://www.insider-books.com/products/197-electronic-editions

For the SAP Community Session I attended, Moya Watson Periscoped the demo part of the event.  Because Periscopes only last a few days, took the recording and posted it on YouTube: Part 1
