Installing SAP HANA and Dynamic Tiering Your Way

A successful installation begins with a solid foundation, so before you do anything, prepare your system.

Prepare to Install SAP HANA and Dynamic Tiering:

With the proper foundation, ask yourself

1. Do you want to use a console or graphical interface?
2. Do you want to install SAP HANA and dynamic tiering as a new system or add dynamic tiering to an existing HANA system?

Your answers will guide you through the process.

If you are building a new HANA and dynamic tiering system:

But if you are adding dynamic tiering to an existing HANA system

During installation of a new or when adding to an existing system, you have the option to add the dynamic tiering worker or standby hosts.  But of you didn’t add them then, you can add them now.
