Software Development on SAP HANA is returning to openSAP this November with an update for Q4/2016. To participate in this course, it is recommended that you have a baseline knowledge of SAP HANA development. This course will focus on new and improved features that were introduced in SAP HANA SPS 11 and 12.

Since the last course, SAP HANA extended application services has seen an evolution of the application server architecture and with Software Development on SAP HANA (Update Q4/2016) will provide an overview of the new architecture and its expand capabilities. With these changes, SAP customers and partners have the opportunity to choose technologies, tools, and deployment options for high-scale development and operation of native SAP HANA applications.

This course will discuss the architectural foundation that allows the option with this to choose between cloud and on-premise deployment. Learners in this course will also learn how to use SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA to develop both SAP HANA Deployment Infrastructure (HDI) and SAP HANA extended application services, advanced model (XSA) based applications.

The exercises included in this course will be carried out using the new SAP HANA Express!

Software Development on SAP HANA (Update Q4/2016) is now open for enrollment and the course will start from November 2, over a 5 week period. If you’re not already familiar with SAP HANA development, you can prepare for this course by taking part in some of our SAP HANA courses in self-paced mode.
